Evaluating Teacher Evaluation

The March 2012 issue of Phi Delta Kappan features an excellent dissection of "value-added" methods for grading teachers tilted "Evaluating Teacher Evaluation" by a team of authors including Linda Darling-Hammond, Audrey Amrein-Beardsley, Edward Haertel, and Jesse Rothstein.  Definitely worth reading.
