The Centre for the Study of Leadership and Ethics is a University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) Program Centre. The CSLE is a research center devoted to the support, promotion and dissemination of theory and research on values and leadership.
Over time, the CSLE has become recognized within the University Council of Educational Administration as one of its most productive Program Centers with a 17-year record of sustained publishing, research, and dissemination activity. It also has acquired an international reputation as a pre-eminent source of expertise and published information on the nature and influence of values on educational leadership. The annual values and leadership conference is probably the center’s best-known product. Center personnel have also published three edited books as well as dozens of book chapters and refereed journal articles on related topics.
